Founder and President of Laxton CFO Services and a CPA licensed in North Carolina, Wendy has spent more than 35 years in financial management and leadership roles. She has served as a CFO and consultant to nonprofit, construction/real estate, life sciences, health care, and other professional service-oriented companies. Wendy founded Laxton CFO Services to leverage her experiences and values to support mission-oriented organizations. She is also a certified professional coach, working with leaders and managers to enhance leadership effectiveness and impact.

Her nonprofit clients include child development centers, a provider of furniture for families in need, and a community table and resource center. In her previous position with a growing church, Sara led an annual budget increase from $600k to $2.7 million. She seeks ways to advance finance departments through increased efficiency and streamlining reporting.
