Personal
Sara grew up and attended school in Charlotte. She enjoyed playing softball as a kid but discovered her passion for musical theater in high school. Sara continued to pursue the arts at Appalachian State University, initially dreaming of becoming a theater teacher. Sara met her husband, Richard, while they were playing together on a coed softball team after college. They have identical twin teenage daughters, Hallye and Hollyn, and completed the family with Shorty, their always-hungry basset hound! Sara enjoys traveling with her family, completing a good DIY project, enjoying live music and breweries with her husband, attending all the various sporting events and competitions for her daughters, and performing in local community theater productions. When she takes a breather, you'll find her on the couch binge-watching Hallmark Christmas movies, as she is a lover of all things Christmas!
